We help teams impacted by organisational change to thrive

Whilst organisational change is necessary and inevitable in today's globally connected world, steering the organisation in a new direction can be exhausting for those delivering and impacted by change.

Beyond recognises that during and after change when new processes and technology are in place, reporting lines have been changed and teams have been sliced, diced, split or merged, teams need support to re-orientate themselves, re-define their purpose and learn how to work together differently with each other, with other internal teams and/or with customers.

My research has shown the power of bringing people together to share ideas, learn and connect. My programmes mitigate the risk of individuals taking the strain of navigating the outcomes of organisational change on their own, which can lead to misalignment of effort and an (even more) exhausted workforce, and can threaten team performance and heighten the risk of people leaving the organisation as the change becomes too much.

Change is often seen as a threat, but it can be an opportunity for growth and improved performance

Our Approach

A model to guide teams psychologically, relationally and operationally through change

1. Discover
This first step helps teams to acknowledge the change they are experiencing, including consideration of the opportunities and risks of change. We use tools to support teams to understand each other better, to draw on collective strengths and shape a group purpose and vision for success.

2. Define
We guide teams through a review of the new operating model and support converting boxes on a process map or organisation chart into a real experience for the team, developing actionable steps to determine how this team will psychologically and practically take on the change.

3. Develop
During the "Discover" and "Define" sessions, areas for behavioural improvement may have been identified. Beyond can run bespoke sessions to address this need, for example, on conflict management, decision making or listening (list not exhaustive).

4. Deliver and Sustain
This stage is iterative - each time the team leaves a Beyond session, they are given tools to be able to implement and practise what they've learnt in their day to day work. Beyond ring fences "on demand" time for individual mentoring in between sessions, to support sustainability of learning.

So whilst we have an approach we follow in order to provide the right structure for success, our focus is led by each customer and we can flex our programmes accordingly.

We offer:

  • End to end team programmes according to our Beyond: Thriving Teams Model

  • Bespoke sessions to target specific needs, (e,g, team purpose and value setting, conflict management, listening skills, decision making etc. )

  • Cross-organsational team strategy to build high performing teams.
